- Multi-axis control, multi-axis linkage: Commonly used machining centers are mostly three-axis linkage. By increasing the swing angle and the rotation coordinates, four-axis linkage, five-axis linkage, seven-axis linkage, or even more-axis linkage machining centers can be formed.
- Parallel machine tools: The functions of commonly used machining centers are relatively fixed. Vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, or machining centers, turning centers, etc. are combined together to form a machining system to increase the machining range and processing capacity of machine tools.
- Tool damage alarm: Use infrared, acoustic emission, laser and other detection methods to detect tools. If tool wear, breakage, etc. are found, alarms, automatic compensation or replacement of spare tools will be issued in time to ensure product quality.
- Tool life management: Multiple blades on a tool, or several tools working at the same time, are uniformly managed to improve processing efficiency.
- Automatic overload protection of machine tools: The machine tool can automatically protect the machine tool according to the load size during the processing process. When the load exceeds the maximum load set by the machine tool, the machine tool automatically shuts down. The load size can be set and changed by yourself.
- Dynamic entity simulation of machining: During the machining process, the machining status of some parts of the machine tool is not easy to observe. If the dynamic entity simulation function is added, the machining status of the workpiece can be observed at any time, so as to prevent undesirable phenomena in machining, such as knife hitting, overcutting, not smoothing, unreasonable steps, etc.
- Workpiece online detection: Also known as real-time detection, it is to detect the workpiece in real time during the machining process, and timely discover and correct errors. This function can effectively avoid the problem of re-clamping and positioning caused by unqualified inspection after conventional machining, shorten production time and improve production efficiency.
- Adaptive control: The machine tool with this function can sense the changes in cutting conditions (such as cutting force, temperature, etc.) during the machining process, and timely control the machine tool to change the cutting amount through the adaptive control system, so that the machine tool and the tool always maintain the best state, thereby obtaining higher cutting efficiency and machining quality, and extending the service life of the tool.
